I’ve played guitar since I was eight. Over the years, I’ve learned to listen deeply to music and express what I hear through the instrument. Living, studying and performing in different countries has shaped my perspective as a musician and my relationship with music.
My teaching begins with listening. I encourage the student to hear, recognize and explore musical ideas, then connect them with the instrument. Songs serve as our main study material: through listening, playing and analysis, we explore melody, harmony, rhythm and expression.
Empathy is central to my teaching methodology. I take time to understand the student’s perspective, interests and way of learning. I balance what the student wants to explore with what I propose as a teacher, introducing ideas and challenges that support their development while keeping their musical interests at the heart of the process.
I also balance practical learning with the student’s interest in theory. A theoretical framework helps explain what happens in the music, while playing and listening allow the student to experience and absorb those concepts. The aim is to make knowledge meaningful and usable, with enough time to explore each idea.
I have 15 years of experience teaching guitar in Argentina, the United States, Spain and the Czech Republic, both in person and online. I work with students of different ages, from complete beginners discovering the instrument to advanced players developing their technique, improvisation and musical understanding. I teach in both English and Spanish.
I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Guitar Performance, where I also worked as a Core Music Tutor, providing individual support in ear training, harmony and arranging.
