Ilaria Del Bon

ILARIA DEL BON began her musical education at the Conservatory "J. Tomadini" in Udine, where she received her diploma with distinction in 2014. After her bachelor's degree she studied at the W. Stauffer Academy in Cremona with Prof. R. Filippini and completed her master's degree in Music Performance and in Music Education at the Zurich University of the Arts with Prof. O. Mandozzi. She also attended numerous master classes with A. Meneses, M. Flaksman and G. Gnocchi, among others. 

Ilaria collaborates with various chamber music ensembles and professional orchestras and in 2016-2019 she was a member of the "Luigi Cherubini" Youth Orchestra, conducted by Maestro R. Muti. 

She is a cello teacher at the Hug Music School and at the Viamala Music School and has gained experience with students from three to sixty years old.

During her studies Ilaria attended courses for jazz and baroque cello, which strongly influenced her teaching style and enriched it with different musical styles, improvisation and a special attention to historically aware music making.
