Roger Greipl has been a professional saxophonist for 25 years and has been trained in various bands of different styles from Rhythm&Blues to Rock, Afro, Salsa and Swing combined with intensive self-study. He currently plays with The Sheiks (Traditional Swing), Die Aeronauten (Rock), Soulmaniacs (Funk, Blues and Soul), Klischee (Electro Swing), Min King (Soul) and can be heard as a sought-after studio musician in productions of Nemo, Dodo, Lo & Leduc, Marc Sway, Steff la Cheffe, Phenomden and many more.
His many years of experience in teaching the basics of playing the saxophone, the introduction to improvisation and advanced techniques flow into his dedicated lessons. Challenges and simple enjoyment of the instrument should be balanced. He takes great care to bring out the full sound of the instrument with a good embouchure technique. Playing technique challenges are usually tackled by developing appropriate pieces of music in the style desired by the student.
Lessons can also be held in French, English or Spanish.
