Chris Muzik was born in 1963 in Durban, South Africa. He spent the first years of his youth in Cape Town, where his grandmother gave him his first guitar at the age of eleven. At that time Chris heard the soundtrack of Easy Rider and wanted to play guitar like Jimi Hendrix. From then on his fate as a musician was sealed. At the age of 17 he was already teaching his first students and proved himself as a professional in various bands. Shortly afterwards he got his first studio jobs. Since then Chris has played live or in the studio, for or with many well-known acts like (Adrian Stern, SBA Featuring Polo Hofer, Michael Bolton, Dieter Meier, DJ Bobo, Coolio and many more...). Most recently Chris played with BLIGG. BLIGG hired him in 2013 and 2015 as co-producer of his two albums "Service Publigg" and "Instinkt", on which Chris can be heard as a guitarist in his unmistakable style and on whose last tour he accompanied as Musical Director. With his own band "The Raveners", which he founded in 2007 together with singer Jessy Howe, he has released two albums so far: "Ravenous" (2009) and "Bad Lover Killer" (2012).

Chris is a true all-rounder on his instrument. His repertoire ranges from Pop, Rock and Blues to Soul, R'n'B and Funk and Jazz. He is a master of both electric and acoustic guitar and always likes to surprise his audience with original sound effects. When he's not working on new sounds in his own studio, you'll usually find him together with his eight-year-old son, with whom he likes to spend his free time.

Chris teaches beginners to advanced students of all ages in English<br /> and German. His teaching is based on the needs of his students. They range from learning the basics to improvisation, different techniques and styles to the preparation and execution of studio jobs or live gigs. You can profit from his great wealth of experience.
