She is currently in the process of establishing herself as an artist and composer.
Her musical education began with a Bachelor's degree in violin at the ZHdK with Prof. Ulrich Gröner and Prof. Reiko Barbara Oberhummer, and privately with Prof. Roman Kuriliv.
In order to continue her vocal training, she studied with Prof. Martina Bovet and
Prof. David Thorner - and additionally with Jan Fisher, singing teacher at the "Lichtenberg Institut" - - Singing lessons taken as a further module.
During this time, she pursued her own projects as a singer and worked with producers like Fabrizio Campanelli, Jeroen Swinnen and Pele Loriano, and several Opportunities to perform in public (e.g. the Eurovision Song Contest - Swiss final).
During her studies, she was familiarized with the theoretical and analytical aspects of classical repertoires (compositional techniques, forms, timbres), which confront the genre and its epochal development. This has given me a lively interest in music theory and composition to research and learn in this field and to develop their own compositions and projects. to be applied. So she made the decision at that time to change her main subject and to Bachelor in Composition and Theory.
At the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana she will complete her Bachelor in Composition and Theory with Prof. Nadir Vassena and Prof. Michael Zink in June 2018. During the same period she took additional composition lessons with Prof. Kurt Widorski at the ZHdK and attended the "Arranging & Instrumentation" course at her university.
After graduation she decided to pursue her musical education and career in the direction of singer - composer. This decision led her to London, a city that
is musically and culturally very stimulating and versatile. She has studied singing at the Institute of Contemporary Performance and here she will finish her master's degree in 2019.
Within her master's program she was able to focus on the performance and production of her music and focus their further creative work.
Chiara has already released her debut album "Constellations", an album where classical and pop elements merge through various, partly experimental sound surfaces, with vocals, live strings and live electronics, to twelve varied songs and instrumental pieces, where she combines and presents all her different musical sides and abilities as a composer, singer and violinist.
Chiara tries to pass on the direct experience she has gained as a performer: while teaching, she puts great emphasis on discovering and strengthening her own style, because every voice is different and special in its own way. Not only a healthy singing technique is important but also the artistic interpretation and presence on stage.
