Bojidar Vassilev

Boyidar Vassilev is a professional opera singer born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
He had his first encounter with art at the age of 5 when he played the violin, viola and piano, sang in a boys' choir and took acting lessons.
He completed his education with a master's degree in classical singing at the National Academy of Music in Sofia.
He then attended the Opera Studio Netherlands, Amsterdam.
He also specialized in Rome, Italy and Graz, Austria.
He performs in various opera theaters in Bulgaria, France, Spain and Switzerland.
For several years he was also a member of the ensemble of the City Theater Biel/Solothurn.
His repertoire is broad and includes over 30 roles, including leading roles of the baritone repertoire such as Don Giovanni, Figaro, Guglielmo Tell, Peter the Great, Eugene Onegin.
Oratorio and chamber music concerts are another passion of the baritone.
Boyidar loves teaching and sharing the art of singing and stage expression with people of all ages and backgrounds.
