Aristotelis Papadimitriou was born in Athens in 1993. He started piano lessons at the age of 5. At the age of 9 he won the 2nd prize and the silver medal at the Greek-Cypriot piano competition "Golden Musa". He was a ten-time prize winner in the German music competition ,,Jugend Musiziert''. In 2011 he obtained the diploma of harmony with the grade ,, excellent'' at the National Conservatory in Athens. At the age of 17, he also obtained the Greek Concert Diploma for Piano (Soloist Diploma) in the Nikos Skalkotas Conservatory with the grade ,,excellent" and the 1st prize.
At the age of 18, he was accepted in the class of Prof. Catherine Vickers at the Musikhochschule in Frankfurt. In July 2015, he graduated with a grade of ,,very good" from his Bachelor's degree in Artistic Instrumental Education Piano. In January 2018, he also completed his master's degree in Piano Instrumental Pedagogy, majoring in piano, with Prof. Catherine Vickers. Currently, he is studying in the Master Performance Classical (Concert) Piano program at the Zurich University of the Arts with Prof. Eckart Heiligers and in the Master Specialized Performance (Soloist Diploma) program with Pof. Barbara
Szczepanska at the Kalaidos Academy of Music in Zurich. He also received the Diplome d' Enseignement, the Diplome d' Execution and the Diplome Superieur d' Execution in the classes of Nathalia Michailidou, Henri Barda and Victoria Melki at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot as a scholarship student. He studied with Prof. Ricardo Castro at the Scuola Musica di Fiesole for 2 years in the postgraduate course ,,Piano and Conducting from the Piano".
In May 2019 he was one of the finalists of the prestigious international competition Prix Cortot, held at the Salle Cortot in Paris. He received the 3rd prize in the ,,International Piano Competition Leopold Bellan". In addition, he received the 1st prize in ,,Wiener Danubia Talents International Piano Competition 2020" in Vienna, the 3rd prize in ,,International Piano Competition Adilia Alieva 2020", the Grand Prix (100/100 points) in ,,3rd Musikprospekt International Competition of Music Performance" in Moscow, the 1st prize in ,,American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition 2020" in New York and the 1st prize in ,,London Grand Prize Virtuoso 2020" in London. He also won the 1st prize with the congratulation of the jury in ,,International Concours de musique Cles d'Or" 2020 in Paris and the 2nd prize in ,,2nd WPTA
He is also a prestigious winner with "Special Mention" in the "WPTA International Piano Competition 2020" (Argerich Alink Foundation).
From 2012 to 2014 he was a scholarship holder of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). He was also sponsored several times by the Society of Friends and Sponsors of the Hfmdk Frankfurt. From March 2016 to February 2018 he was a scholarship holder of the Polytechnische Gesellschaft Frankfurt. He performed as a soloist in various festivals such as Thessaloniki Piano Festival, Frankfurt Reads a Book, New Music Night at Hfmdk, St Lizier Festival and in halls such as Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Rachmaninov Hall in Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, in Royal Albert Hall, Megaron Mousikis in Athens, Salle Cortot in Paris, International Theatre Frankfurt, Kellertheater Frankfurt, Steinway Zentrum Frankfurt and Bechstein Zentrum Frankfurt. He taught as a tutor (Hiwi) for cadenzas for orchestral instrumentalists.
In 2018-2019, after passing the entrance examination, he participated as a scholarship student at the Académie de Musique Française pour Piano in Paris, where he received lessons from Michel Beroff, Jacques Rouvier, Anne Queffelec, Pascal Rogé, Philippe Bianconi, Philippe Entremont, Jean-Philippe Collard. He participated in master classes with Dmitri Bashkirov, Robert Levin, Vladimir Viardo, David Lively, Nikolai Demidenko, Matti Raekallio, Carmen Piazzini, Arbo Valdma, Günter
