Andy Robertson

Andy Robertson is a professional musician from London. For over thirty years he has worked as a "session musician" for numerous international bands. He toured the world twice with Morcheeba and recorded the album "Blood like Lemonade" with them. This was followed by the Sugababes and Marlon Roudette (Mattafix), among others. As a drum teacher, Andy brings over twenty years of experience and has taught music lovers of all ages. His "groove" and "time-keeping" are ahead of his reputation. His many years of professional experience enable him to teach advanced studio and live performance techniques. Andy studied at the "Drum Tech Music College" in London (master classes with Dennis Chambers and Steve Smith). His mentor and teacher afterwards was Randy Hope Taylor (Jeff Beck and Incognito). The following styles cover Andy's repertoire: Jazz, Latin to Heavy Rock to Funk as well as Blues, Reggae, Techno and Latin Percussion.
